Memorializing
The scientists and volunteers who worked on Canada’s chemical weapons. This work was in response to chemical attacks in the First World War. It was done secretly between the end of the that war and the Cold War. Much of this work was done at the new National Research Council in laboratories that once existed across Sussex from this site.
Description
The memorial plaque is a standard Canadian government plaque placed on a large cement block at the back of the NRC building.
